Maintenance | Oiling the blades

One of the most important aspects of keeping your WAHL product in great shape is regularly applying blade oil. Each product includes a bottle of our blade oil. We recommend appyling a few drops after each use, but at least once a month. In case it seems your motor isn't working on full speed, the blade becomes hot very quickly or isn't cutting properly. In 9 out of 10 cases this can be solved by appyling WAHL blade oil. This video demonstrates how fast and easy it is to keep your product in perfect shape.

If that did not work, please contact us. We're happy to help!

Maintenance | Adjusting the power screw

Is your clipper making a loud noise? Or does your clipper turn on but the blades aren’t moving? Before contacting the Wahl customer service team, your clipper may simply be out of tune. Watch this video and/or follow these steps below:

Step 1: Take a screwdriver (the bottom side of the cleaning brush supplied with each WAHL clipper will also work).

Step 2: Turn your clipper on.

Step 3: Use the screwdriver to turn the power screw (on the side of the clipper) clockwise until it makes a loud noise.

Step 4: Once it makes a noise, make a half turn counterclockwise (your clipper should no longer make the loud noise).

Your clipper should now be be at full power and ready to cut through anything.

If that did not work, please contact us. We're happy to help!
