What are the signs that your clippers and trimmers need cleaning?

 Here's the different signs that show your clippers and trimmers need attention : 

  • Struggling to achieve clean cuts.

How to clean clippers and trimmers: our advice

When cleaning after each use, you should: 

  1. Use the brush supplied with your Wahl tool to remove hair from the blades.
  2. Cool the blade as it might be hot from cutting friction. Spray on the Blade Ice and leave for about 30 seconds.
  3. Use the Wahl Cleaning Spray to eliminate dirt from the blades. This ensures optimum hygiene between uses.

Also remember to oil your blades. Good lubrication is essential to prevent wear and ensure that they cut properly. Oil also reduces friction, preventing the blades from heating up and getting damaged. 


How to apply our oil for blades:

  1. Add three drops of oil to the top edge of the blades, then one drop to each end.
  2. Turn the machine on for 10 seconds to distribute the oil evenly.
  3. Wipe off any excess with a clean cloth.
