What does an industrial mechanic do?
Industrial mechanics make parts and assemblies for machines and production plants. They also set them up or convert them. They monitor and optimize production processes and carry out repair and maintenance tasks.
Length of the apprenticeship: 3.5 years
Start of the apprenticeship: September
Vocational school: Villingen-Schwenningen Vocational School
These are the academic prerequisites:
GCSE; in addition, you should enjoy mathematics and other natural sciences and they should come easy to you.
